Elementary

A Word

From Our Principal

Rigorous academic training begins in the Elementary.
The Language Arts curriculum starts with a solid phonics foundation that builds into a comprehensive literacy program encompassing grammar, literature, informational text, spelling, and writing. Our math curriculum is also standards-based and teaches students to apply critical thinking skills to problem solve. The academic program also includes science, social studies, and Bible, as well as computer, music, physical education, and art in the classroom.
What makes the ECA Elementary School distinctive is the complete commitment to teach every subject from a Biblical worldview perspective. Students don’t just learn facts, they learn to process those facts through the lens of scripture.

ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER

This year’s theme, “Be a Builder”, is based off of 1 Thessalonians 5:11 which reminds us to encourage one another and build each other up.  We are spending the year teaching our students what it means to be an encourager to others.  It is important to us that our students learn to interact with each other with respect, and that our learning environment is one in which students feel safe to learn and grow in the unique way God has created them.
